FOUNDER'S PROFILE
Meet Timothy Ang
Timothy Ang is the Managing Director of Safe Engineering Services Pte. Ltd. He has been in the security industry for more than a decade.
While working previously with Tyco in their Commercial team, Timothy was tasked to growth the Pharmaceutical Industries sector and he expanded it successfully. He secured customers such as Abbott Lab, Schering Plough, MSD, Eli Lilly and LONZA.
He left Tyco in 2010 to join a sub-contractor of Tyco – Safe Engineering. After partnering with the company for 4 years, Timothy bought over the shares of SAFE, and armed the company with a new vision.
He grew the business to take on larger projects. From taking on small to mid-tier projects, Safe Engineering soon took on large value-added jobs confidentially through demonstrating full commitment to customers.
Timothy also successfully led Safe Engineering Services Pte. Ltd in its accreditation with OHSAS18001 and the bizSAFE STAR accreditation which was achieved in 2015.
Timothy possesses a degree in Management (RMIT); an advanced diploma in Strategic Marketing (Singapore Polytechnic); and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Singapore Polytechnic).

BizSAFE STAR Accreditation
BizSAFE is a five-step programme that assists companies to build up their workplace safety and health capabilities (WSH). The highest level of the programme awards companies the STAR status for displaying excellence in WSH management system.
Safety is of utmost importance to us as our work entails certain levels of risk during the installation process. Achieving the bizSAFE STAR accreditation is our commitment to our stakeholders on safety and health.
The process to obtain the bizSAFE accreditation starts from the commitment from top management to set safe practices that are documented and improved on a continuing basis. Workers need to attend the bizSAFE course on Workplace Safety and Health Management as well as achieve a safety certification as part of the programme. The entire process is audited by a WSH auditor to ensure each company has a Workplace Safety and Health Implementation Plan.
