bizSAFE is a five-step programme that assists companies to build up their workplace safety and health capabilities (WSH). The highest level of the programme awards companies the STAR status for displaying excellence in WSH management system.
The process to obtain the bizSAFE accreditation starts from the commitment from top management to set safe practices that are documented and improved on a continuing basis. Workers need to attend the bizSAFE course on Workplace Safety and Health Management as well as achieve a safety certification as part of the programme. The entire process is audited by a WSH auditor to ensure each company has a Workplace Safety and Health Implementation Plan.
